Polyurethane resin for stone carpet

Two-component polyurethane resin for Stone Carpet, UV stable.

Colorless polyurethane resin has properties such as high flexibility, very high resistance to scratches, substrate cracks and other mechanical loads. It is resistant to UV radiation and other atmospheric factors.

The colourless polyurethane resin is intended for making coatings and floors using quartz or marble stones of the "stone carpet" type and as a closing layer in systems with coloured quartz stones.

The advantage of the product is the speed of the hardening reaction. The "stone carpet" made with this resin can be walked on after about 4 hours. This also means a reduced risk of the floor being wet by rainfall while the reaction is still ongoing.

Material processing time

Materials intended for use should have a temperature of at least 15 degrees Celsius. Pour the entire contents of the package with component B into the package with component A. Mix with a low-speed mixer for about 3 minutes (to avoid excessive aeration of the material, it is recommended to use a mixer with a speed of about 300 rpm). The material should be poured into a clean container and mixed again for about 2 minutes. Due to the chemical reaction taking place, the material should be applied immediately after mixing. Do not leave the mixed material in the package.

Gelation reaction time

  • AT TEMPERATURE 20 degrees Celsius: 20-25 min.
  • AT TEMPERATURE 30 degrees Celsius: 15-20 min.

Temperature required when processing the material: min. 15°C
